Does anyone know what the ingame pet/mount is this year? I have heard rumours that it may be another starcraft murloc pet. Last years Blizzcon was deathy the deathwing murloc pet that burps fire. Please Blizzard not another murloc or i wont be buying it.

Don't really see any point in purchasing a ticket, I'll be able to find out all of the info without it. Probably even before Blizzcon. 40 bucks for a virtual ticket is a bit much don't you think?

@Bowser: I'm buying it to see SeleCT bring on the pain. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they release VODs of the Blizzcon tournaments, and I do like my Starcraft II tournies. It's a bit expensive for a tournament pass, sure, but apparently they give out some digital swag, so why not? I get to watch GSL for free. I'll pay for a tournament that only happens once a year.

@WhiteFang: Represent! According to their interview at Gamescon, we will see their own personal Blizzard brand DotA map along with the possible unveiling of the new multiplayer units that will be changing the strat of the ladder.

They have already released a lot of neat info about the Heart of the Swarm campaign, including that it will be about 20 missions, each with unique objectives and different method (a la Kerrigan and her army's customization options) of completing them. I just can't wait to see those last details we'll get before the game launches. Need to be aware for when the metagame changes.

@Artanis: I'm thoroughly looking foward to it. I realize approx. dates have been discussed, but I hope they're willing to give us a date at Blizzcon so we can play vacation days accordingly.

Thanks for that info. It wasn't mentioned about the pet on the FAQs I read. But if I might not get the pet like you, Verd, then I won't do it. I'd only do it for the cool pet.

@Burningrose: So... let me get this straight, just to be clear. You're paying 40 dollars of real cash... for an ingame pet?
