Diablo® III

What does change quest do?

I'm new to the game, and I'm not exactly sure what this option does.

I'm currently playing through on normal, and I heard that this could be used to farm items or gold, but is there a drawback or something? Can I go back to the quest I was working on? or do I need to start from the quest I go back to?

Thanks in advance for any help given.

I'm just going to assume that no one has actually helped out with this issue of yours yet, so I'll be the first \o/

Basically, yeah, you can change quests at any given time as long as you have it either unlocked or finished. Changes can be done from the menu, and you don't exactly lose progress on the quest you're on - you're free to come back to it anytime without much hassle. As for the item/gold farming, that's probably being referenced by Monster Power and the fact that you can replay acts/quests at any time as long as you quit and restart the current game you're playing in without quitting the whole D3 itself \o/

Hope that helped :>
