Well, the sword (Maximus) has been out since vanilla.

On the other hand, I found a Carnevil myself last night, and it's actually really fun. I can confirm the Fetishes will only fire the basic Poison Dart, not the runed version that you're character uses. They actually do pretty fair damage, and the helm's stats are great too!

Lastly, I have seen people link their amulets in-game and one of them summons two shadow clones to your side. They mimic your spells and do a percentage of your damage, and tank a little for you as well. First summoning amulet I've seen so far in PTR.

I wonder if your Garg's stun will proc shadow clones. The only other spell that I can think of is MC that you can proc stun…I could be wrong though.

Note that the Fetish Darts go wherever your mouse is pointing, so even if they lack direct line of sight they will still shoot, even if it means they'll miss.

Messed with PTR for a little while. 5 zombie dogs and +50% damage is EVERYTHING to this build!!!!!!!

50% damage? 5 Dogs? That stuff isn't on the PTR, it's in the closed beta.

If you look at the passives that are locked I think that's what one of them said, unless I just read it wrong.

Loving this thread. Some good minds in here, and love the discussion. I took mine a completely new direction and some of you may not agree with it but it is great on mp 5 and 6 grouped. The logic is simple: guaranteed heavy damage every time I actually click. He is a summoner, no need for attack speed. When I play him, I like getting soul harvest, letting the zombies pounce, then drop some acid or firebombs on their heads. Every click does more damage because the gear I have is free of attack speed and crit so that leaves room for other stats. Fundamentals remain the same, just feels more fun to play.

Fetish sycophants is fun. Note I Have zombie dogs only because when I don't have fetishes, I need something to distract enemies so I can has bats.

Forgot about paragon points. Now I have reached the 2.308+ APS breakpoint for 5 ticks per second with bats.

That's 5 times a second to have a 5% chance to summon a fetish. :D

Going to make a 2.0 thread some time but I am still R&D on this. All I can say is the %damage for dogs/garg are going to be awesome. Interested to hear thoughts so far.

Well, with the new build this thread becomes pretty much useless. I was going to make a 2.0 thread but no point now. I made this character before a summoner was a "valid" build and was the first I beat inferno with. Now with the tard-proof numbers (health should be under healing) and the # boosts it is somewhat obvious what to do. I do want to experiment with zombie dogs bonus on armor.
