I always boycotted the D3 twitch.tv streamers. I figure they need to get a real job. You ever wonder where they got the gear they were giving away.

I would however subscribe to a channel that showed WoW Arena games like those played by the folks at Skillcapped. But then again they are the real deal, World Champion players as opposed to botters and multiboxers.

I saw some casino guy streamer talked A LOT (crap...A LOT).... even admitted buying gold on a 3rd party site and even said he will not do it while streaming because its a bad idea.

I mean WTF... why are they still donating money?

Then there are streamers sponsored by a gold and item selling sites which is agaisnt Blizzard rules and if u buy there u get banned.

How can ppl still donate $ to someone who is obviously buying gold and items from donations?

It just doesnt make sense at all.
My guess is they must be out ouf their minds or just dont know how to say it...

It makes me sad thats it! PPL wasting their own money and supporting some really in my opinion totaly useless streamers.

I am going to take a leap into that pool of fire this thread has become because I want to speak for myself.
As a streamer.
OP: Big D3 streamers are gone, thats true. There is no money in diablo streaming-thats also true. And thats why the big names left the D3 sceane on Twitch.tv.
However,I'm there, and was there since February, streaming every day I can,if I'm playing diablo,I'm streaming, and if I'm streaming,I'm playing no other game then diablo. You're most wellcome to the channel. You and everyone else who reads this post including:

@Neo:
You have a very general opinion on streamers, but you make it sound like they are all the same, you call streamers parasites and scammers, some are some are not.As a dedicated D3 streamer and player I am very offended by these words, honestly.
Read this forum post if you want to know some more about me:

I don't stream for money,I only added my donation button after 4 months of streaming to my viewer's request and let me share a secret with you, even though its none of your buisness,,,in 9 months of streaming over 2200 hours I have now exactly 126.37 euro in my paypal account..I work in shifts for a living, finished UNI,living on my own,and don't expect or ask for my viewers and friends to support me.This is totaly optional and with a community of over 5k followers, very few have used my donation button.Thats absolutly fine.

I simply love to stream, share my knowledge and chat with people about the game I love.I supported the community in coutless ways and never asked for anything in return,I NEVER advertise my givaways on stream's title,(even though I do them),I have recieved offers from 3 gold and legendry selling (botting) websites for sponcerships and kindly declined because I belive that bots are bad for the game and break the economy those websites could have made my stream much more popular then it currently is,but honestly,I don't care about it,and I didn't want to contaminate the purity of my twitch page by some botter's website, sure, its nice to start the stream and see 60 people waiting for you in the first minute and watch the numbers rise to 150,but thats not what I'm after..I have enjoyed steaming even when I had 5 viewers at the very beginning, and I am still enjoying it,even now after a lot of D3 viewers went to watch other people streaming RoS and I lost a substantial amount of viewers.

All the givaways I do btw, comes from people that wants to give somthing to our community on twitch, and donate, used to be items, now its gold that I am using to buy decent gearsets for people that are now coming back to diablo.I have a seperate account to manage these funds making sure they don't mix with my own gold,I have 2 chars to maintain also, and people understand that if I use the gold and items I farm for givaways,I will never upgrade my chars... this is why they donate.

I never tried to scam someone or take someone's money.I have never disrespected my donators, quite the contrary,I thank them. And appreciate the nice jestures even if it happens every once in 3 weeks and even if its for 5euros.You have to understand that some streamers are diffrent, just like there are diffrent people, some will always be gold diggers, some will choose honest paths. And I don't like beeing put in the same group with those streamers and you are doing wrong by me by including me in that group.

I describe those things to you,and for you,and for other people that have negetive opinions on streamers, just so you can see that it all depends who is the person, and some people manage things otherwise, and not after money.(I have a job,I am healthy, making a good living, and thank god,I am missing nothning).

And also,I don't understand, why do you think subbing and donations are diffrent? Twitch is nothing without the people who makes it what it is - the streamers.Twitch is a multy million dollar corp' that is funded through so many ways. Why the people who makes what Twitch is,the actual entertainers not be rewarded in some way by their viewers? After all, streamers are entertainers for free.
If someone is watching somebody's stream and content, its because they have fun, there is nothing wrong,in helping out those streamers, and everyone is entitled to do whatever they want with their money.
