Demon hunter seems to be doing well after all

Guys... barbs are doing great just because of this legendary that gives perma-ignore pain, which will get nerfed for sure.

Crusaders seem to be doing just fine because of similar mechanics, it appears, and will get nerfed.

I think you should stop asking for broken mechanics, and instead criticize our class more properly. Asking for obviously broken stuff weakens your demands to reworking on the class and if we do get broken stuff, we'll only get nerfed later...

No matter how nerfed we get, we still get a means of getting up and doing, if not on par, at least play nicely ;)

We've survived more than a year of nerfs already anyways.

This streamer currently got the 0 cost Strafe xbow and tries out Strafe/FoK (I'm really wondering why he doesn't use punishment to refill hatred and get more FoKs out though). Looks quite good:

Because he's using it for Smokescreen.

He could switch out Preparation for Caltrops. The idea would be to get crit chance really high (maybe even keeping those legacy Maras and Skull Grasps) to get large amounts of discipline back, then strafe without hatred cost and spam FoK while strafing. If they havent changed the 50% proc coefficient you should be able to spam FoK and still get enough discipline for Smokescreen.

He doesn't have enough crit chance though..

Wasn't it at 60%? With a 1 hander this might be enough to warrant Prep over Caltrops (FoK dam is much higher than Caltrops dam and you won't have the caltrops discipline cost). I might have even gotten Shuriken Cloud instead of Vengeance to permanently have 3 skills that can proc Nightstalker (and LoH). At least there is a nice synergy there.

He's using Vengeance as a steroid skill, right? Well.. IMO..

Something like this will help.
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#SkeTXV!cXe!cYc..Z

Smokescreen - Vapors for Healing, FoK- 0 CD. And Aid Station for more Healing, or just Spitfire or something.. It's added passive DPS anyways.

Looks pretty nice on paper. With all those skills being able to proc LoH, high LoH and Chain of Torment (75% proc) might be interesting too.

If CoT somehow got it's proc back regarding crit hits.. then it'll be OP. anyways.. that's what'll be planning to use XD

Solid build. The bow is the core.
I guess bloody moon may be not necessary b/c the amulet can insanely regenerate life for him.

Actually, it's not that.

It's the Spike Trap - Scatter and specifically that rune in conjunction with 2 Piece Ninja Set.

What happens is that enemies are lured towards the traps and are taunted. Since there are 3 of them, all with 2 second duration BEFORE exploding(I think), that's why they can keep the enemies preoccupied quite well.

Having 3 out, they Taunt the enemy in a way that the enemy doesn't know what to hit, and thus, cycles between the 3 in theory. So they'll just pick a target, but can't.

chrizzle is right, but i severely doubt this was intended, i think its actually a bug, and will probably be fixed with locational fixes or something in the source code

The targets will not walk to the spike trap, as I see from the video.
Also these targets are not fast-moving ones.

Honestly, the 2pc ninja working like it does just shows how stupidly small the activation range on traps are.

The range appears fine. If you're good at using traps now then the lure is a bonus effect that helps your game play, which is all it really should be IMO.
