    Holy crap guys have you seen how fast Ancient Spear flies? That´s an amazing improvement compared to live.

    Seeing a barb streaming T6 pretty easily in comparisson to other classes. Overpower:Crushing Advance presented itself as the replacement for the 'permaIP' from the legendary and the rest was pretty basic: WW:Hurricane for pulling monsters and fury dumping, Avalanche/EQ and Earthern Might for fury generating along with nuke/AoE DoT.

    WW and Avalanche with Eathern Might seem to have a pretty good synergy and will most likely be the go-to options for running specs without fury generators, specially if the barbarian decides investing in some gear that increases fury gain - such as Animosity or the pants that increase resource generated while moving by 25%.

    One thing I still haven't seen anyone using is the shoulders that makes health globes restore 20% of the player's maximum resource. Now even though the 'Crushing Blow spawns health globes' legendary mace will probably be changed, barbarians still have BR:Swords to Ploughshares as a viable alternative for spawning health globes on crits and that would most likely yield huge fury returns, specially given the mobility that the class can get through WW.

    What do you get when you salvage pre ROS legendaries? Do you get brimstones or the new legendary mat? I ask this because you need a lot of the new legendary mats to enchant legendary items. If this is the case, it would make a lot of sense to stock pile a bunch of garbage legendaries on the live server now :o

    What´s the Splash Damage animation? Is it something like Bloodshed/Slaughter blood explosions?

    I mean, the purpose of the affix is to improve the viability of single target skills, right?

    Ww hurricane looks great, probably really effective with overpower, rend and earthquake. Maybe revenge or war stomp too. However, the thing I'm the most excited about is the golden oxen set, which enables all runes for furious charge.

    - 760% weapon damage
    - 12 fury per enemy hit
    - 2.5 second stun on all enemies hit
    - 2 second cooldown reduction for each enemy hit
    - All enemies hit are pulled to destination

    Each of those abilities have very good synergy with one another, and with most of the barb's other skills. The possibilities are endless!

    I'd like to see fire ww with cindercoat and a nice fat axe of sarkis and +fire damage + ww damage gear, in a sword and board set up with the fury on block passive

    I'd also like to see the full thorns set with splash damage and popcorn build.

    Thorns build on crus> thorns build on barb. Because crus get s a passive that gives 126k thorns damage. Lol.

    I also am unsure of how op crushing blow is, everyone keeps complaining about it, but cdxliv has a completely crushing blow build, basically and he does tons of damage up from, but he still takes 40 seconds to kill elites because he lost out on base damage stats...it still seem pretty balanced, although I imagine in final release it will be available on less slots than it is now.

    The burning axe's shield procs a lot (in vanilla) and provides a lot of ehp so with shield it's a nice damage/ehp balance I think, if not a little slow moving

    So I don't mean to off-topic but did they really just give us higher stat legendaries and added +% damage to certain skills alongside crushing blow and call it a day? I mean was really hoping for some 'chance to cast' or something with a little more depth to it.

    Ok back to more questions.
    Is the damage bonus on equipment added or compounded?
    Eg 1.00=>1.15=>1.30=>1.45 VS 1.00=>1.15=>1.32=>1.52
    Just hope there is some incentive to not just blindly pick CB% :D

    There is. Cuz crushing blow is only a % of existing mob health.

    So it's really fast getting a mob's hp to <75%. But after that you're relying mainly on your own dps and if it's too low you're not going to do much.

    Then again thats what splash/crushing is for.

    I simulated the amount of hits needed to kill 2,000,000,000 HP elites with 40% crushing blow.

    With these numbers, 1000% damage = ~50% faster kill

    In a party of 4, you need 7 extra crushing blows to bring the elite HP to solo game levels.

    It's broken as !@#$.

    Maybe I'm late to the party but I just realised the huge synergy between crushing blow and the reworked ruthless passive. You quickly bring the target's health to less than 30% health and finish it with very high dps thanks to the passive.

    I believe the new version is like this: you deal 40% additional damage to enemies below 30% health.

    In the current version of the game this passive would be decent at most, but paired with crushing blow it could make the barb a very strong class in high torment.
