how far could i possibly take my build ( http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Star-1113/hero/38878065 )into monster power? i was talking with someone in a pub who said it'll never perform well in anything outside of mp0, however i feel differently.
what would i need to do in order to push for mp5? (mp3 i where i will settle, but i want to set mp5 as my goal.)

Strafe is totally MP10 viable.
Now bear in mind that takes some pretty good gear to pull off, and unlike many Strafe DHs I am not using Preparation or Shadow Power.
More eHP, particularly health. You are going to want around 400AR, 4K Armor, and 60K HP. Maybe a bit less if you use Gloom.

Shinobi is such a noob it's unbelievable, he knows nothing about the actual mechanics of the skill.
I have no idea why he made 90% of his decisions. You're doing a lot better then Shinobi and if you follow Rav1ns recommendations you'll be doing fine. Keep at it.
Also reading Nyans posts about Rapid Fire could help a lot with Strafe, a lot of the mechanics are the same.
Lol TastySoup. I didn't want to call him out- that's the only time I've watched him play. But yea, it seemed to me that he saw what some one else was doing and just copied it without knowing any of the underlying mechanisms other than the Hatred=Disc=Hatred formula. He really did not need bola running prep, or prep running bola- I'm not sure what he was trying to do.
Definitely. It explained a lot of why what I was doing was working, and how some things were redundant. Ultimately it helped me refine how I use other skills to support Strafe and allow for more eDPS.
