I don't know if Blizz intended on Critical Mass being the best passive in the game for wizards, allowing for spamming the way it currently is, but my guess is they did not. I use it all the time, but I am still glad they are removing it... It will force me to be a little more creative.
On a side note, the shields look OP!... looing forward to it :) Anyone else?
Dominance - useless except for facerolling low difficulty where you kill superfast and don't take enough damage to warrant it anyway, so not even really good for that. 3 second duration is a complete joke on T4-6.
Deflection - love it, very good skill. It's very strong but not OP or mandatory. You can work without it for sure. Definitely not necessary in CC heavy builds but will look very appealing to a glassier build where instead of CC or defense, your priorities include: damage, damage and moar damage. Bonus points for using this skill in a channeled build.
Barrier blades - I've played around with them a little but not enough to make a concrete judgement on the skill. I guess if you are 1.) hell bent on running spectral blades, 2.) don't need flames blades to buff fire skills, 3.) don't need the AP from siphoning blades, and 4) can't get deflection into your build because you need a different MW rune or already have your slots occupado by things other than MW, then, yeah, maybe I'd use barrier blades. Cold rune is okay but only if you want to buff yourself and your party with cold blooded (now a party buff) or elemental exposure and don't have another source of cold damage. And thrown blade is still crappy. Not a very good endorsement of BB there but meh, I calls 'em like I think I sees 'em.
