Question about lvl 10 legendary plans...

...

This. If you had of learned that seven sins shoulder plan it would never again drop. Now, since you sold all your plans, you will be finding them at lvl 70 instead of the lvl 70 plans, like I will be.

I took most of the legendary plans off my loot table by learning them. Now I should be finding primarily lvl 12 plans. gg

The new Seven Sins aren't called Seven Sins, so you can find the new plan. Stop spreading bull!@#$ on the forums.

When he is lvl 70 (his character) he can still find the lvl 10 seven sins plans since he never learned them. Since I learned the lvl 10 plan, it's no longer on my drop table, so I will probably get the new one before him.

I never said the plans would scale and be so amazing and gg.

So If I have learned a lv 60 plan, will it still drop the lvl 70 equivalent?

Yeah. They're different plans.

Check out these 2 plans:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/artisan/blacksmith/recipe/seven-sins
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/artisan/blacksmith/recipe/corruption

These are basically the same shoulder, but one is lvl 60 and one is 70 (and the 70 one is just 6 random props).

So going into ROS you can have 2 situations
    1. You've learned 7 sins, so now you only need to find the new corruption shoulder plan.
    2. You haven't learned 7 sins, so now you can find both shoulder plans, only one will most likely be obsolete at 70 (7 sins).

Crafted items don't scale with your character, but some plans have multiple versions. For instance, lower level players can use a crafted a set of Caine's Fate, but then can swap to Cain's Destiny at 70. They are separate sets, though, and require you to discover more than one set of plans. In other words, finding a low level plan will not allow you to make the higher level version, but it won't stop you from finding those plans later on.

Grimiku, I asked on a thread but no one could answer me.

What happens with the NON CRAFTED Sets, like Nat's, Rasha, etc. I know the affixes should scale from 60 to 70 but what about the bonuses (like 2 pieces Nat's = +250 Dex), do they scale as well or there is another version of those sets at lvl 70? I ask this cose if there's another version, that version is not yet shown on the Items List here, on Game Guide.

I have a question about plans.

Can I still find the level 4, level 10 and level 12 plans at 70?

It would really suck to have to keep leveling characters just so I can find all of the crafting plans in the game since I can't go back and just farm Nightmare or whatever difficulty to find what I'm looking for.

Is it even possible to find low level plans on a high level character?

In the beta at least a majority of the legendary crafts were inordinately expensive to craft for 9/10 garbage. Not to mention a lot of them require specific component drops so you have to farm specific locations all that work for literal crap.

Unless RoS changes it, yes, you will get level 4 and 10 plans at level 70. Since 2.0.1 (at level 60) I have found numerous level 4/6 plans.

Yes, you can. But only if you haven't got them yet. If you do then those plans won't drop again for you.

Even if they had the same name you could still find it because it's a different item altogether.

Alright, I thought that's how it was, but I couldn't remember.

(Though admittedly I was trying to fish for an official response)

Some time ago I bought every single legendary and set plan I had not found by then. So I will be in the same boat! I won't find a single legacy plan, only new versions, and new plans!

Costs were very high yes, but they were far from 9/10 garbage. I don't mind having to farm the specific parts, but the gem cost really should be reduced to a lesser gem.

At level 60 I've found all levels of plans. So, I'd say yes.

I found an Unending War plan (artisan LV 4) last night on my LV 60 character, so I would say yes, all level plans can drop so long as your character's level is at or above the item level of the actual plan.

This is not true as I have found cains plans 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Also from what I see Plans are still tradable. Dont know if level 12 ones will ontinue to be but the current ones sure are

I like to answer the question about whether or not being able to find lower level plans. Answer is YES because I have found level 23 legendary bow plan while farming Torment 1 with my lvl 60 monk.

Unfortunately that was really disappointing for me cause it was my first leg. plan and it doesn't match my char's lvl.
