So, I've been shopping for a new laptop that will be able to do some decent gaming. Not looking to beat, or even compete, with my desktop. Just something I can take to work and get some decent graphics off of (tethered to a power outlet, of course). Here's what I've came up with, looking for advice on which one would be the better buy.

Laptop 1 - 599
Intel Core i7 3610QM (2.30GHz)
6GB Memory
2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M
1366 x 768

Laptop 2 - 679
Intel Core i5 4200U (1.60GHz)
8GB Memory
2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M
1366 x 768

Laptop 2 has a newer i5 with lower power draw which will help with battery life (not really a factor, but could be if I ever go Mobile). It also has a new GPU which will future proof it alittle.

However, Laptop 1 has a fairly nice i7, although a little less RAM to back it up.

Currently I play WoW, Diablo 3, Hearthstone, and Skyrim however that could change. Using Notebookcheck the GT 740M is capable of getting higher framerates at various settings for those games, than the GT 630M. However, would the i7's CPU horsepower help the 630 edge out?

Looking for some advice from technology enthusiasts who may know more than myself!
