WHY DOES BLIZZARD HAVE TECHS THAT DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. WHY PAY THESE NOOB TECHS THAT ARE JUST THERE FOR A PAYCHECK. I WANT MY TOON RESTORED ITS NOT MY FAULT HE DIED. ITS BLIZZARD FAULT FOR NOT FIXING THE SERVER. AND PEOPLE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. ITS LIKE I RATHER NOT WASTE MY MONEY AND TIME PLAYING BLIZZARD GAMES. INSTEAD I RATHER SELL MY GAME AND ACCOUNT AND GO PLAY DIFF GAME THAT ATLEAST WORKS WITHOUT ISSUES.

The LAG is a server side issue.

If that were true it would be effecting all players on all servers the same way, which it is not.

When you say this you are assuming all Blizzards servers are all equal and everyone plays on the same server with the same hardware.

I have a multitude of OL friends who are experiencing the SAME issue. Our geo-location spans the entire US. Our ISP's are different. Some of us have different connection speeds as well. This has been going on for almost one week. For example, when you use falling sword on a crusader, I should not be able to "Go into the heavens, grab a cup of coffee and wave at Jesus" before I return to the ground.

You just haven't experienced it yet. No other issues with the other OL games we play. Zero lag.

I would be very surprised if they are using anything other than identical VM's that are running in a hosted server farm on standard hardware.

The same SYMPTOM. Doesn't mean it has the same cause.

The traffic to which takes a different path, and ends up at different servers, using a different codebase. Apples to oranges.

i maintain that if the problem were the servers that blizzard maintains it would be effecting everybody equally. The fact that people who use servers on more than one region (sometimes US, sometimes EU, etc) and are only experiencing the problem with one and not the other says a lot. The software on the servers is the same, so if the problem were with the coding of the software it would be the same in both regions.

I'm not discounting the possibility of bad coding in the game client, or of some kind of bad switch in a closet in blizzard's offices, but so far from what I've seen, of the people complaining of lag, only about one in 30 or so has got a clean trace, and the rest are showing packet loss somewhere, be it locally, at their ISP, or in the middle somewhere.

We have posted these. But the thread went dead due to no more Blue responses. Its like they know it is on there side but does not give a rats !@# about it. This is not the first time this crap has happened. Don't you think that maybe Blizzard would have re-routed there internet and bypassed the AT@CRAP. But nope

Okay, like...

This happened a week or more ago when I would constantly get dc'd and kicked from bounties and rifts. They fixed it and it was fine.

Now I'm getting rubberbanded like a ping pong ball all over the damned place. Come on already! Im not the only one, since all I have been seeing in general is people saying the same thing.

getting terrible lag spikes myself, got a nice connection, issues have never been this consitent before.

Easier said than done. Blizzard has a wire coming into a building somewhere that houses the actual physical servers. Just like you, they don't have control of what equipment is connected at the other end.

Just thought I'd add to the list of posts that repeat the same thing. I've experienced awful lag consistently since last Wednesday, April 16th. Since that time I've driven myself a little crazy trying to determine why I've been lagging so badly. Consistent rubberbanding, skill execution delays, and outright connection loss. I'd love to be dramatic and say I always lose my connection at a rift boss, but honestly I've been kicked from the game in all manner of situations.

I'd love to get back to playing my hardcore characters, but the prospect seems laughable right now.

fix your freaking game blizzard. it is totally unplayable because of the lag. it is NOT user side, which i've said probably 30+ times the last several days, along with hundreds of other people experiencing the same issue. fix the issue already.
