i guess T4 was too low to ask around :D seems like the current gen players have never even heard of 0dog. usually only paragon 400+ seem to know what i'm talking about. very few below paragon 300 even realizes the build ever existed. so i guess T6 is where 0dog lives these days... maybe i'll get my toughness up alittle more :)
0 dog is VERY rare, and will have A LOT of people be like: "uuuuuhhhhhh" lol
I do not have it equipped right this second, but I made a hybrid build with mine to be able to support myself on T3 and higher solo, and not JUST be a support role.
Heres a showcase of mine:
Murphy's law at work :D just when you cant afford to cough up the helm slot, MoJ drops for you :D
i had the same idea but was in the same shoes as you. i cant figure out how to fit the MoJ into the build :D legacy homunculus also reduce garg cooldown so that could have been an interesting build if i had invested in a legacy mara as an option :(
has ANYONE found this lately? as in within the last 2 weeks? i'm getting the feeling that they don't want this to drop since they are trying to push people away from any kind of dog related builds.
I actually found 2 of them in one week. They are still out there!
The rest of 0 doggers know this, that weapon ISNT the 0 dog holy grail. If anything it doesnt work 100% of the time and it does not stun them 100% of the time. Why? The AoE isnt big enough. Take it from me who tried this even with Lots of AoE gear AND 50 para points into AoE
Is it worth it to use? Oh !@#$ yeah. But it is more worth then other weapons that could be better? Negative.
yah i was just gonna get one to play with it and see how things go. it may allow me to run T6 with abit lower toughness then i'd otherwise need. basically this is what i was referring to

AstrayedOne, did you try to use pierce the veil instead 5th dog?
I use garg (-20sec cd on my garg) and I think pierce of veil buff him too.
I have 2 option for my 0dog:
1. t6 stun/support in group with this:
with giyua, sg and homunculus
2. solo play fetish build with:
with soj, sg and homunculus
So far I have no luck for this items.

Is it as 2.0 or more still necessary for this build?

To 2.0+ zero doggers who know:
How much legacy gear is necessary? I obviously know about the rings/mojo/helm, but I'm curious how much of it I can avoid wearing with CDR.
Example: If I somehow many to get to get to 75% CDR, will legacy gear be unnecessary with the 25% from Tribal Rites? Or, alternatively, if I get to 60%, with the 25% from Tribal Rites do I only need one 7 sec dog reduction item?
Yes I have! Too be 100% honest I have found (this was tested before with someone who streamed 0dogs back in the day) that:
5 dogs > Pierce the veil. Do some testing for yourself and you can see that it works well, if you LOVE the garg then please by all means use PtV for all around.
You're set up looks FANTASTIC , I have nothing else too say then keep up the good work :D

unfortunately the stun is amazing for trash but against elites and bosses it is useless. the diminishing returns means it works amazing for the first 2 seconds of the fight and then they are immune. I have it and tried it out with my 0dogs build thinking it would be the Holy Grail and had my spirits crushed.
It is amazing for whites though, you can perma stun lock them.
I'm below 300 paragon points and qualify as someone who has no idea what you're talking about. :-)
That being said, I just googled it and have a general understanding. It is to suggest that you are attempting to get the cooldown on summoning dogs down to..."0", correct?
at 300+ Paragon Points, is it possible to get the Cool Down reduction to "0"?
The general lack of familiarity might not only be new players to D3, but new players to the WD. Back at launch it was a very ineffective class IMO and a lot of the early players avoided it. I've played since day one and still remember just hitting a wall in Inferno with my original WD. So if recent patches have persuaded them to finally try one out they're new to the class mechanics even if they're at paragon 300+ from other class play.
