Great question! Starting in Patch 2.1.0, we will be removing +% Cold Damage from the pool of affixes for Smart Loot for the Crusader class. The affix can still roll on non-Smart Loot drops.

Questions that need answering:

1) Why introduce the dmg nerf to HS at all? If Blizzard were to buff instead of nerf HS (lets say increase 2H dmg by 23% instead of reduce it), do you think sader damage will equal that of WD?
(Please dont raise old arguments of tank and 30% dmg reduction, Pet WD can tank better than sader and the dmg reduction is there so that the sader can live long enough to even have a chance to deal puny dmg before dying due to being a melee class)

2) Why no changes to dogsader due to being the weakest (together with monk) on the leaderboards. You said all classes should have an equal chance at GRs, yet to date, despite all the time and all the posts, you did literally nothing about it. (oh wait, you did do something, you created a leg gem that made pet classes even stronger and created a totally useless sader set)

Is it really a smart drop when crusader weapon drops with Int on it for my wizard who is looking for a wand?

This. The DH only has I believe 2 poison skills now, its pretty much a wasted roll.

Good to hear.

Hopefully the same can be done to DH regarding poison.

That only leaves Monks with 5 elements. What makes matters worse is the lack of skills the Monk has so having 5 different elements makes it very hard to make different builds as there is usually only one option in elemental support.

Monk had very few cold options before and it would have been the ideal "odd man out" but most of the resent changes have come in the form of more cold options in favor of "physical" ones.

Could physical be dropped for Monks as a element as it would open up more rune options for Holy, Lightning, Fire and Cold?

1) Blues would use word "mandatory" for that. Nobody would use 1-handers even if there was no buff. 1.5x higher base dps seems too mandatory and 20% dmg buff would mean only 3 slots for passives, HS being like 30% dmg reduction for meele.

Will Seven-Sided Strike be viable? Because nerfing the only one AOE rune means changes are going to be made or maybe Madstone is solution (nerfing EP and making legendary affix which inflicts it in the same patch, wow)?

Yep! We actually removed +% Poison Damage from the Demon Hunter’s pool of Smart Loot affixes on the PTR in June, but it wasn’t included in the patch notes. This change will also go live in Patch 2.1.0 (and like the Crusader change, still allows +% Poison Damage to roll as a non-Smart Loot affix on gear).

So even with the increase in 2 handers damage the HS -20% damage will still keep my crusader near the same amount of damage he does now? I just don't see how 23%-30% damage boost to a weapon will off set the 20% over all damage decrease. Or is it the weapon damage of 2 handers will be reduced by 20% with the HS passive so over all I only get a 3-10% weapon damage increase in the end. Maybe I'm just reading things wrong.

I'm not sure if this is why but the 2h change was for them to be more appealing to int classes, thats why The Grand Vizier and the meteor chance.

Only if you're not a Crusader. (Wielding a shield with a 2H removes the damage increase).

Take +% Poison Damage out of monks too. And remove the fist weapons with poison damage too. So useless.

Does this also mean that you'll change the elements of the 2 or 3 crusader cold runes?
