The world of Sanctuary is a BIG place, defended by hundreds of thousands of heroes each and every day. To help you get to know some of these fellow nephalem a little better, we've created the Fresh Meat N' Greet.
The Fresh Meet N' Greet is a recurring series of interviews featuring you, our community. A few times each month, we'll sit down and chat with six different community members, one for each class, and then post our Q&As right here in these forums.

Grimiku: Tell us a bit about yourself.
Raistrev: I'm 32, and a fairly avid gamer. I have used a computer for one reason or another since I was 4. I reinstalled my first OS on to a computer probably in 5th or 6th grade. Rebuilt a pc a few years later, took it apart, cleaned the parts, and put back together. I prefer to build my own desktops rather than buying one at a store or anything. I can do it for less and build a better machine than what you pay for at the store or online. When I am not gaming, I am generally at work, or taking care of my rabbits, the garden, reading, watching a movie, or spending time with my daughter.
Grimiku: Got any cool hobbies or talents?
Raistrev: Dunno if they would be considered "cool"; however, I do raise rabbits, play M:tG, L5R, pen and paper D&D, and other various card games. My daughter comes first though, so when not working and she is not asleep, I am spending time with her.
Grimiku: How long have you been playing Diablo games?
Raistrev: Since first Diablo, and I only missed out on D1's expansion.
Grimiku: What other games are you currently playing right now (if any)?
Raistrev: Pretty much every Blizzard Game. Yes really. Have played World of Warcraft off and on since launch; SC2 since launch, missed SC1 though, and have played Warcraft since Orcs and Humans, and never missed a game or expansion to that. I play hearthstone in streaks here and there.
Grimiku: Do you play any other classes?
Raistrev: Yes, as mentioned earlier I am tormented each night between my Witch Doctor and my Crusader. I do like variety, so I do play all the classes from time to time.
Grimiku: Are you in a great clan or community? If yes, tell us about them!
Raistrev: I would say the clan is okay. Not big, just five of us in it, but we do try to help each other out when we can. Tag of <Death>, actual name is Killer elite (will have to check with the Lead to make sure <.< >.> ….)
Grimiku: What item have you found that you're most proud of?
Raistrev: I would have to say my Thing of the Deep. It rolled so well that even as a Pet Doctor I have such a hard time replacing it.
Grimiku: What's your most embarrassing moment while playing?
Raistrev: Too many to recount… Most recent one would have to be while doing a t3 rift with clan mates. I was having a laugh at them for always getting killed by the Arcane Sentries… Then a few moments later I died to one…
Grimiku: Okay, what about your most AWESOME moment while playing?
Raistrev: Honestly, would have to be when I beat the Campaign for the first time. One of those experiences you don’t really get to repeat. You can beat it again, but never feels the same as the first time. (mind you this was back Pre RoS and in the first week of release)
Grimiku: If you could live in any city in Sanctuary, where would it be?
Raistrev: Uhhh, given the state Sanctuary is in right now… I am almost thinking Hell would be a safer place since everyone from there is invading Sanctuary. But, if I had to pick a city it would likely be Lut Gholein, since basing on the story line is the city least affected by all the madness going on.

[THE CRUSADE MARCHES ON]
Grimiku: What drew you to the Crusader?
Raistrev: I wanted to play something different from what I was playing. I used to play the Monk fairly exclusively, and put some 220+ hours on her. After not getting hardly anything for drops, I figured I would play something else for a change of pace. Crusader was the new kid on the block so, I figured I would give it a whirl. Loved it. Usually have a hard time deciding to play it or my Witch Doctor.
Grimiku: What kind of Crusader are you: do you wade into the thick of battle to crush your foes or call down the wrath of the heavens from afar?
Raistrev: I prefer to wade into the thick of things and bash their heads in.
Grimiku: What's your favorite skill (or skill rune), and why?
Raistrev: Right now, I would have to say is Akarat's Champion with Prophet. So hard to die with it up; I almost have to try to die to get close to dying.
Grimiku: What build are you running currently?
Raistrev: At the moment, I am using a Fire Fist of the Heavens build. Used to run Holy Hammers, but the gear just wouldn't drop to move up in difficulties with it.
Grimiku: If there was one thing you could change about the Crusader, what would it be?
Raistrev: More class Set options.
Grimiku: Name one piece of advice that you think every Crusader should know.
Raistrev: Have fun first, and don't forget to enjoy time away from the computer as well.
Grimiku: What drink do you think your Crusader would order at a bar?
Raistrev: Mead, honey Mead…
Grimiku: Pick a Crusader quote!
Raistrev: "Our eyes are everywhere—in the tallest mountains and the lowest valleys. We go everywhere, and we see everything. We learn from our masters, who walked the lands before us. Our enemies may think we journey alone, but they are mistaken."

Grimiku: Which Crusader should we interview next?
Raistrev: If you haven't already, I nominate Deadset#2627 or ArtDZ#1930.
Grimiku: Pick a question to ask in the next interview:
Raistrev: "Would you want more vanity pets like the Spectral Hound?"
Got any questions yourself for Raistrev? Post them below!

I am 57 year old straight male. I regard life as sacred and have taken it to defend others. I got into Diablo with the first one. I was a caretaker in the middle of no-where in Texas. It help kill the time while I was alone on 155 tree filled acres.
ok this may seem weird but i think there should be a limit to the keys because they probally don't i think they go to over a 100 in torment difficulty plus if you look at my crusader i do TORMENT 1 srry about the caps but you should make the rifts have only high chances or goblins high chances of getting goblin realm and whats with the surplus of goblins being super rare like a blue moon.
Hey there! 25 year old avid gamer living in Newfoundland Canada. I`ve been a big fan of Diablo since the second one playing with my friends. I was the first one to reach 100 out of the 5 of us lol.
I bought D3 when it first came out and played a monk and reached 60 then 70, now in this season mode is out, I`m playing a cursader and I am loving it. I just hit 70 with a guildy from wow and were having a blast.
I don`t really have a super uber build. mostly relying on my bowmen and my heavenly sword. for my own personal army. But I am currently looking for some better builds.
I don`t have any children but I play WoW with my girlfriend that I met on WoW. and of course looking for work. My dream job would be a welder or a some sort of beta tester or developer. (Now that beta/alpha game are becoming a common thing, I think only professional game companies will hire for beta testers)
And yeah. That is all I can think off, I hope to see this thread get bigger and see what other people have to say :)
imo I feel they are pretty well balanced. Every class has their strong points and their weak points. For Crusaders they tend to swap around weak points depending on what build they go with. That said they do perform better overall than Monks, Wizards and Barbarians from my observations.
Have not started a Crusader in seasons yet (at least ladder wise). I have been focusing on the ladder and went with WD to get me started on it. In Non season I have not tried condemn yet either. Ofc I have not been able to get on the past few nights /le sigh....
When I lived in Omaha, there were people all over that played it... Moved here to Boise area and zilch... at least none that I have come across...
Taking a lookover on your Crusader with the gear. My suggestion would be to drop two of your Wrath spenders and stick with just 1. Then adjust your passives to match it. Do that and T1 should be a breeze. T2 could be possible though a bit slower till you get full akkhan bonus.
This was pretty fun to read. I've mained a Crusader since RoS came out and I haven't really touched too much of my other classes, although the new monk is very tempting. The condemn builds are pretty flexible from what I've seen. I got lucky with an incredible strongarms bracer so I've been using the vacuum rune. It is just as fun if not more fun than the shotgun crusader. You should give it a try when you get the chance.
