The purpose of this build is to utilize the low 5.5-second cooldown of Fetish Army (golden rune- decreases cooldown to 50 seconds + Tribal Rites passive- decreases it even further by 25%) with a continuous stream of Zombie chargers (indigo rune- summons 8 zombies) for damage during the cooldown of the Fetish Army.

With Tribal Rites, you will always have a Fetish Shaman on screen turning enemies into chickpeas and increasing damaging dealt to them (alabaster rune- increase damage to enemies to 90%), perfect for your army of Zombies/Fetishes.

Wall of Zombies will be used mainly for crowd control (golden rune- slows enemies by 60%) although you can also use it as damage if you like.

Bid bad voodoo is saved for desperate situations like boss fights.

If you need some breathing room, cast a Horrify. It will save your life. But don't forget to cast zombie chargers + wall of zombies to chase down those who are fleeing from you.

For mana sustainability: Vision Quest and Spiritual Attunement.

Pets with poison runes offer a lot more damage while keeping enemies off you and while you're pelting enemies with 8 poisonous darts each attack.

With the zombie handler and fierce loyalty passive, your pets will survive a little and hurt a little more and to top it off, a Fetish Shaman hex will periodically heal wounded allies including yourself, for when you need to get close and personal with a boss.

Grasp of the dead with a 4.5 second cooldown will give you superior ground control.

Pierce the Veil will boost your attacks. As the mana cost for this build is quite low, you can deal with having a 30% mana increase for a 20% damage buff.

However, if you find yourself running out of mana, Soul Harvest with a golden rune should do it, it will give you a much stronger dart attack as well!

With Vermin and Blood Ritual passives, your toad of hugeness, bat, and spider spells will do more for less (at the cost of your health). This is retified via Vampire Bats for life leech, zombie dogs with life link (damage taken is absorbed by your zombie dogs), and haunt with life leech.

Death trance passive will reduce damage done to you by 20% if below 50% health... this really compliments your dogs with life link.

Spirit Barrage with alabaster rune will give you along with your vermin spells a steady stream of damage.

This is a pretty mana intensive build (but very spammable) so Widowmakers (spiders) will offset that with mana leech.

What's your opinion concerning using an obsidian rune on Spider spell to have a support unit creating spiderlings that cause poison damage?

For the Rabid Pet Master build? I don't think a Spider Queen would do much. I'd much rather have a support skill like Grasp of the Dead which would not only help my minions (my minions will be doing a bulk of poison damage so they need as much survivability as they can get) but myself as well, shoot and flee if necessary. My Dart would do so much more damage especially in conjunction with Soul Harvest. And I'd probably dish out quadruple more damage with splintered Darts than an AI led Spider Queen who may or may not attack, or attack too slowly.

At least, the cooldown will be 20 seconds (50 second golden run + tribal rites (120 * .25 = 30) ). And that's assuming the tribal rites will decrease based on the 120 seconds rather than the 50 seconds. Otherwise, the cool down would be 37.5 seconds.

I would love to see a good fetish army build, though. Like the ideas.

Sorry, math error. But the lowest cooldown you could get (not counting other skills) would be 17.5 secs. Still really good with zombie chargers, wall of zombies, and horrify to keep things under control. Hmm.. if you count the 12 second Horrify, it essentially makes the Fetish Army cooldown 5.5 :).

Since a rune alters the effects of a skill and pretty much makes it into a new skill (with a new skill name, no less), i'm certain the effects are applied before passive skills.

can change spirit walk 2 horrify if that makes you feel more special inside... as i have a feeling that the land rate will be phail... and soul harvest is ok i guess.... but how much melee is one going 2 do as a WD?

might not be too good for PVP. Pierce the Veil + Blood Ritual would be steep on your health. The build looks solid.. but if you want it to be PVP maybe something other than mass confusion would help you more because I'm not sure if mass confusion would work on players (i doubt it would)

you do realize that zombie dogs take 70% of my dmg right?.... and i can just heal myself by killing you? and i would hope mass confues works vs other players for atleast the dmg% ....or ima have 2 use big bad voodoo and that thing just sucks.... or another dot...i guess

wish i could have 4 passive skills :/ zdogs at 60% for epic win, guess i cant have everything i want
