The world is not going to end in 2012 because Silvia Brown said so at an Indiana casino. lots of people asked her that and she said nothing is going to happen. Also when other people asked Chuck Norris if the world is going to end in Dec. 2012, Chuck Norris said it would depend on how he is feeling that day.

I'm sticking with my February 14th guess that I made back in August. There are too many awesome commercial taglines for it to not happen.

Hmmm... hate to break it to you but it will be 2-3 weeks after the gold anouncement before it can come out. It takes time to create the product that sits on the shelves.

I WISH it was 2/14
The post you quoted, where I made that prediction, is from September. It was feasible, then. But yes, I'm disappointed that my Valentine's Day prediction won't come to pass. :C

Watch out for falling satellites and earth quakes.

You forgot the D at the front of your name.

Maybe this is what the Mayan's were predicting. The game gets released on the 21st, doesn't get voted as the greatest game in the history of the universe...

Diablo fans rise up and destroy the world in one massive nerd rage.... maybe

This has been discussed a ton. They will not do a super bowl commercial. You really see blizzard spending $3 million dollars to announce release date?

that 3.5 million dollar adds only tributes to a 1/3 of a million people playing wow out of their what 10 or 11 million subs. they have money to blow.

and wow makes them 1.98 billion a year.

I agree, but having it and choosing to spend it are two different things.
