Diablo® III

How do i claim taxes I am 14 years old

You won't be withdrawing and $$$ from the RMAH anyway so whats the worry?

Any money that goes into to a Blizz wallet is owned by Blizz and can only be spent on virtual blizz goods and/or game cards for online games. You wont be able to withdraw like an ATM.

When you sell an item on the RMAH, people will have to put money into their Blizz wallet to buy that item...again money that can not be taken out.

I believe you are wrong. You can get the cash, after about 10-12 "fees".

to take money out you need to have a paypal account in your name.. which requires you to be 18.. and you need to move it to a checking or savings account which requires you to be 18 or have parents open the account for you.

Nobody seemed to mention that using someones product to make money does not make you an independent contractor of that company. I.E. IT people generally use a large variety of software, they are an IC to their client, not the company that provided them the tools to make money with.

It was mentioned a few times.

You don't understand how the system works. Yes, people will have to deposit funds or have funds available in their Blizzard Wallet. Yes, you can only use those funds to purchase things from the Blizz store and the RMAH. Yes, you won't be able to withdraw from the wallet at all. However, where you are wrong is the last part.

When you sell an item in the RMAH you will have a choice of cashing out the proceeds of the sale to your pay-pal account or despositing them into your Wallet. If they go to your wallet you will not be able to 'withdraw' the money as cashey bits. However, bypassing your wallet and having the proceeds from the sale go straight to your paypal account will result in cash in your account. Where the money from the buyer comes from (the blizz wallet, always, only thing you can use) does not prevent you, the seller, from turning it directly into cash.

Probably have to be 18 to have a paypal account so that's what you should be upset about. Either way, just use the money as blizzard money and use it on the inevitible DLC Diablo will come out with.

Minors are exempt from U.S. taxes, I had quite a few jobs before i turned 18.

you worked at the pizza shop illegally
minors are not responsible for contracts so they cannot have credit cards,
they can have a credit card under their parents credit that their parents are responsible for but minors cannot make contracts

"In Tennessee, a minor must be 14 years of age before they can work. Some of the restrictions for 14 and 15-year-old minors are:" there are a few hour restrictions until you are 16 years of age.

And yes you have to open a joint bank account with a legal guardian, it doesn't have to be under the parents original account and can be ran entirely by the kid. Unless your parents thieve from your lousy income it shouldn't be a problem.

actually at 14 you can legally hold a job with i think it's 6 hours or so a day but for taxes ask for ID10T form

Why can you not work legally?
US laws require a minimum age of 15, and thats with many restrictions. Most jobs wont hire until 16.

Wrong, minimum age is 14 in the united states.

And no, people will hire you if your 14, at supermarkets and fast food and pay around minimum wage. But what do you expect your 14?

There are plenty of kids that get hired at the age of 14. The only reason why people think 14 year olds wont be hired is because barely any of them in this day and age care enough to get a job at that age.

The game is rated for mature audience, so if you earn money with it your parents can go to jail for making you work.

Also you can't work more than 5 hours in a row, and more than 20 hours a week :). A reason a lot of 14 year olds don't want to work. Its not fun just getting 5 hours a day.... I even believe you are required a 30 minute break in those 5 hours...thus only being paid for 4 and a half.
