What is the difference between armor and defense. Do they both do the same thing (dmg reduction)? I realize one is an attribute and the other is a stat on item. I just don't understand the difference or point of having 2 separate stats that do the same thing.
Its been answered in multiple other threads, and a quick search would have easily found you the answer, but im in a decent mood tonight. Armor reduces physical dmg, a physical resistance if you will. Defense reduces all dmg taken.
Essentially, if we use some math, someone can correct me as well, it works like this:
Damage taken - Defense% - Armor(if Physical)% in addition
Not sure exactly how the percents work, but you can go look it up. Literally type in "armor" or something.
Threats of violence. We take these seriously and will alert the proper authorities.
