So I've watched bunch of youtube vids about D3 and the artisans but I a question I haven't seen answered yet.
From what it looks like the higher you level your artisan the higher the gear they'll give you (dua) ... but can they still give you lower level gear? Lets say I play the game to nightmare with one char while leveling up artisans. Then start a new char... will the shared artisans only be able to pump out equipment that far exceeds my new level 1 char?
Yes. Your level 1 character will be able to make level 60 gear... But where are you going to get the mats?... Ok you pullled them out of the shared stash and you made a high level item... you're level 1, good luck equipping it. :P
Edit: Assuming you've leveled up your blacksmith to max on another character. (Level 60ish)

@Walmermon I'm not so much interested in getting top tier equipment right away for a new character (casual player). I was mainly concerned that the artisans might be 'useless' until I get all my characters up to a certain level.
If they can make equipment down to any level character then I have no worries.
