Demon Hunter:

While hunting down shadows the tall trees surround
I watch eyes in the darkness and tracks in the ground
With a pounce from above I quickly dodge right
Too slow it seems as I dart from the fight.

Panic ensues as terror pursues me
My feet are on fire as the pain throbs below me
A slit down my leg the creature had caused
With hatred and fear along with razor sharp claws.

A backflip, a bola, caltrops a dozen
Revenge in my heart light him up like an oven
With crossbow in hand I steady my head
Death mark in place, take aim, boom, dead.

The glee that results is short-lived as I peer
Into the woods where his friends reappear
A dozen, no two. Even more eyes fade slightly
I prepare for the bloodbath that seems more than likely.

Grenades from my pocket I throw in the distance
Attention returned as if they had missed me
The forest is alive as I seek the sky for an answer
"I hope this works" softly I mutter.

I chant incantations as I shoot to the heavens
The clouds burst open as if in defense
Bolts pelt the earth as if instructed by thunder
Creepy eyes now lay in wait six feet under.

I check the mail, there is no sign
for what I hope will soon be mine
I grow the beard, I crunch the data
Still no sign of my beta

They announced the game a bit too soon,
So here I am looking like a goon.

I used to be excited for D3
then i took an arrow to the knee
