Are you saying this game has a high difficulty curve?

what makes you think it's confirmed for consoles?

I'm _VERY_ worries. Bethesda recently decided to release Skyrim on 360 / ps3
and PC.... they developed the graphical capabilities to the best the 360 and ps3 could handle and DID NOT enhance the pc version, even those we all have quadcores and teraflop class graphics cards (teraflop a thousand billion instructions per second) Also: Bethesda BASED PC CONTROL OF THE GAME ON PREEXISTING 360 and PS3 control mechanisms... they routed data the controll was expected to send FROM the PC mouse because they DID NOT develope the source code for PC and mod it for the consoles, THEY DID THE OPPOSITE, and the pc version was not only lower graphics by a LONNNNG shot. the controls were also GARBAGE and on top of all this.... none of the hotkeys worked properly because the keys were fused into the sourcecode at key places, youd say "close menu is the C key" but the C key would only close some things, where other things DEMAND the default hardcoded "tab" key to close. DEVELOP FOR PC FIRST AND FORMOST WE HAVE SO SO SOOOO MUCH MORE MONEY THAN THESE KIDS WHOS PARENTS SPEND 300$ 9 YEARS AGO. WE ARE YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER. WE ARE 90% OF ALL YOUR INCOME (mostly thanks to wow players) |

It's not confirmed, it's confirmed that they would like to try it. Just like they have been saying.
It is, however, confirmed that rumor blogs are run by people with low IQs. |
What You mean as opposed to before when everyone was their own individual of str for gear req, everything into vit hammerdin? Yeah, man. There was a lot of variety then. No cookie cutters at all. And what skills you choose to use. It's like people didn't even play D2 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh Anyways, OP, I don't think this is a concern. When they have been willing to talk about their plans for D3 for consoles, they've talked about how they don't want to make it unless they think they can make it feel like it was designed for consoles from the ground up. Essentially, they think of it as an entirely separate thing that must make the best possible use of the medium, rather than a simple port. The PC version must be designed specifically to take advantage of what the PC offers, and likewise for the console version.

call it unconfirmed if you wish but its just semantics. they said at blizzcon when they announced D3 that they wanted to try it for consoles but they didn't want to port it to consoles. that is why they designed the PC version to be console friendly. 7 total buttons for abilities will fit on most current controllers, beyond that the system just has to have the ability to deal with the demands the system will have on the game. an issue i see possibly coming up will be the online aspect of the game. im going to assume there wont be an offline mode as with pc so that leaves them with having to work out a deal with sony and of microsoft. the issues there is MS charges for online connectivity of the 360, im assuming blizz wont like that. and no one can trust sony's network considering the hacks of last year and their unwillingness to contact those effected in a timely manner. once they decide to make consoles happen it shouldnt take them long but they are currently more worried about the PC launch and dont wanna add more fuel to the fire of conspiracy theories as to why its not out yet. they confirm consoles and you'll have 500 threads pop up about how the pc version is being shelved, and they have enough of that crap to deal with over the RMAH. |
