Diablo® III

Solo barb crit build

Does the order that I add the skills matter (i.e. I have a fury spender first since it is available at an earlier level).

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#YceTjP!Zcg!abYcZZ

Are any of the skills redundant or unnecessary?

After a lot of feedback and changes, I'm up to:

Also swapped out Bloodthirst for Brawler

Scoundrel follower build to go with it:

Alabaster revenge gives better crit then overpower, for lower damage, % health back per enemy hit and better consistancy on the uptime of the crit. You most likely do not need two stuning abilities, you could get rid of ground stomp and furious charge for crimson leap attack and grab a stun elsewhere. Golden WotB could allow huge uptime on the buff, if you put effort into modifying the build around it anyways.

I don't typically take skills like alabaster battle rage and golden cleave. Albaster is a set % of damage with a conditional modifier that increases with count of monsters around each of your kills. Considering that at inferno enemies will be significantly more durable, kinda makes battle rage alabaster less powerful as monsters get stronger. I dont like golden cleave as it's a condtional generator, rather then a general purpose one. You do not have a consistant fury spender, only the 20 from battle rage and 50 from WotB, yet you have 3 generators.

You need a solid fury spender.

Also this is a personal thing, but most of your spells run on a cooldown, something I'm not in of. However if that doesn't bother then you then power to you, I just wanted to point it out.

It's a crit heavy build (I do like Revenge (Alabaster) over OP)

Active
Battle Rage +4% crit
Furious Charge (Obsidian) - 3.5s stun on crits
Overpower (Crimson) - CD resets on crits +16% crit for 4.5s on crits
WotB +10% crit

Passive
Ruthless +5% crit

I am worried about not enough for Fury Dumping, let me see...

Ok, made some tweaks based on feedback:

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#YcdhUP!Zcg!aZbcaZ

Actives:
Cleave-Crimson, dmg goes from 115 to 150
Leap Attack-Golden, +400 armor for 4s
Seismic Slam-Alabaster, +359 dmg along path
Revenge-Alabaster, +21% crit for 10s

Aside from Ruthless not sure I'm happy with my other two Passives.

I really like the Indigo effect on Revenge, hmmm, having constant heals in battle from this firing would be nice.
