Demon Hunter bug with Evasive Fire skill

When my DH does a back flip (Evasive Fire Skill) to escape nearby enemies, he often gets stuck against a wall or a table for some reason. I then get pummeled by enemies. So, I don't use that skill anymore.

I think this is a bug. Getting stuck defeats the purpose of this skill.

That's it's pathing, evasive fire's back flip or what ever it's called is a small vault and so follows the same pathing rules. As such ANY obstical that you come in contact will stop you. The dislike for the pathing has been voiced but I doubt we will see any changes any time soon if not at all.

My big problem with the skill is I think it forced the back flip while enemy are still too far away. When using this I noticed I was wasting discipline doing these little back flips when I was in no real danger.

Also the pathing issue makes this a really undesirable skill in my opinion. Since you have no control where you flip it becomes real easy to corner yourself.

Just because it takes skill to use doesn't mean its bugged, you should pay attention to your positioning. It vaults you backwards, not in a random direction. If you get put into a corner by it that's your bad. Whether you think it is a good skill or not may be up for debate however, i think the piercing shot is better except possibly in boss fights where you want single target damage.

It's def a path issue. It has nothing to do with what fBSunny said at all <_<;

It's not all walls it works on, it seems to be specific ones and your character does get stuck for a while. Almost like the old Diablo II "Black Wall" effect. Your character bounces back and forth, you can wait it out and it'll auto correct, you can also do other things like reset abilities to be allowed to move again.
