Diablo® III

Monster Tether?

Is there one? It seems too easy to zerg through the dungeons right now, just gunning for the exits. Monsters do not seem to pursue very far, because if you have to backtrack, they are in roughly their original positions.

On Normal not so much. However, as you go up in the difficulty, monsters will not only get stronger, but gain new abilities and become faster/more aggressive. This just comes from experience with D2, but we can assume it will work the same way. In my opinion, Normal will be to enjoy the lore with little down time and the ability to run through, but as you get through nightmare to hell, you will slow down.
