Potentially Abusive Skill Combo - Thoughts?

Preparation [Punishment] to restore full hatred, then Multishot [Supression Fire] spam to restore full discipline; repeat till everything is dead. This would be extremely effective against large packs of monsters (I think). Night Stalker and Perfectionist passives just sweeten the deal. What do you all think?

P.S. Blizzard, you misspelled Suppression ;)

Abusive? How?

So on a single target, MS will only restore 3 disc. max per hit There goes your sustain. Yeah against a lot of monsters you may get a high sustain, but again, what defensive disc skills do you plan on using with them them? Are you sure there's not a combination of 1 or 2 big, heavy-hitting monsters with a couple of abilities that won't be able to make your life hard? Or heck a pack of ranged that won't be able to make your life hard?

Also MS doesn't have the highest WD, I'm sure you'll have to fire with it at least a few times to kill something in inferno.

It's not really abusive; abusive implies that they hadn't thought of it as being possible.

At worst it's 'clever use of game mechanics', but it's not even that clever since it's the first thing people think of when they see Preparation- Punishment.

It's probably not all that much more overall damage than other combos, since it really only shines vs ~5+ enemies, in which case your gimp damage MS isn't maximized.

That said though, one of the builds I made does make use of this combo with a slow weapon:
