How many quest will be in the game?

How many quest are there in the game? Can we do thounsands of quest or is there a set 6 quest for each act that repeat with each difficulty?

From what I can tell there's a pretty fixed set of quests to follow through the game, with a few minor optional sidequests thrown in. It's not like an MMO with random fetch quests and crap everywhere.
