Monk Healing based on DEX?

Will the Monk's heal abilities be based on their primary stat (DEX), or on INT?

The current theory afai is that healing is flat rate. Meaning that you always heal the amount appropriate for you level. Perhaps weapon affixes will be able to boost this though.

You could also say that healing for monk can be based off of attack speed, if using the transcendence passive. It heals you 62.0 life for every point of spirit spent...faster attack speed means faster spirit gen, more attacks and more spirit spent.

Spirit spent Affix's will grant soime healing but no known + to healing gear is out there. And with the Monk class having the only direct healing skill (that i know of) It would have to fall onto some sort of class piece of gear.

For the monk thats Fist, Daibo's, or head piece.

healing looks like flat rate only modified by skill rune or perhaps some monk specific items

They have said that there will be skill specific affixes to gear. Most likely this is the answer to this. Just like there will be skill affixes that increase damage of skills, there will be affixes that increase healing on skills, also.

At least, that's the only thing I can come up with.

If they do this, it won't matter if it's on monk specific gear or not. It simply will be useless to a class other than a monk...

It seem slike all healing is either flat amount of percentage of health.
