This thread is solely for entertainment purposes. It's probably not in the game, and if it isn't by now, it never will be. This is just a fun idea I had :)
So we know that the demon hunters work by finding survivors of demon attacks and initiating them into their order/clan/cult/thing. So, playing as a demon hunter, let's say you come across a survivor, who has just fled from a demon attack. Just as in the small video clip that Blizz put out, demons start to attack, and you hand a crossbow to the survivor, who joins you and fights alongside you for some part of the zone, learning more about combat and the demon hunters as he/she goes. This questline would probably end with the initiate sacrificing themself to save you though, they can't be with you all game you know.
Just a cool way of reminding players of the demon hunter's backstory, and spicing up an otherwise boring zone. The templar was a nice touch in Act I, so maybe a step further could be cool. As well as that, there are so many places in the game where you reach someone just as they turn or get killed, and it makes me feel a bit helpless. This would give the impression that you really can save these people.
Anyways, I know it's not an implementable suggestion, just something that tickled my fancy. Oh, and sorry if this is copypasta, I couldn't see anything immediate but I didn't look very meticulously.
I think that's a really cool idea.
Honestly, the short stories for all the characters were very enjoyable, and I hope something with the same tone is in game for each of our heroes.
Don't want to give spoilers for the stories to anyone that hasn't read them yet, but the way they're written really seems to give hints at some gameplay we might see : )
