There seemed to be a way on windows to get around Graphics card problems.
The thread was http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4903520596 Does there happen to be a mac equivalent? I'd much rather play with terrible performance than not at all. (coming from the guy who used to raid at 2fps in BC) |

Pretty sure this will run on my MacBook 5.1, but will I just have to play on the absolute bare minimum specs?
10.6.8 Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.4 GHz 8 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9400M VRAM (total) 256 MB Resolution 1280 x 800 How's it look to you? Need any more info? Thanks in advance, folks. |

I'm a bit confused. My video card is ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT.
It seems like that would not meet the requirements listed above, but I was able to play in the beta, and another website I was looking at seemed to say this graphics card was 'Low' but not unsupported. Thanks for the clarification |

I'm a bit confused. My video card is ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT. It may be low for the PC supported page, but it is not supported for Mac. It does not have the vertex shader 3.0 or greater requirement that is needed for graphics. |

Pretty sure this will run on my MacBook 5.1, but will I just have to play on the absolute bare minimum specs? Should run, but settings all be defaulted to low since it has low shader support. |

Pretty sure this will run on my MacBook 5.1, but will I just have to play on the absolute bare minimum specs? Great, thanks for the response. It's defaulting to an 800 x 600 resolution, which is just straight weak. Hopefully that can be the one setting I bump up. |

Would the 7600 GT work if I used bootcamp and ran Windows?

It may, but it's listed as unsupported/poor performance for Windows as well.

You don't have that Intel 3000 chipset. This is mainly for portables.
I run WoW on the display with the ATI card, but D3 won't let me choose which display and will only (poorly) run in windowed mode on my ATI display, so if Blizz doesn't implement a "choose your display" option I'll swap them over. If that makes sense. Thank you for helping! This option is not in Diablo III at this time. Feedback has been sent to the appropriate teams for review. ________________________________________________ Mac Tech Support for Baaaaahlizzard Entertainment | Sun-Thur This is small step for me, but big step for humanity. Can anyone help me? I have no clue how to compare my specs to the minimum requirements. I have these exact specs and I'm getting the "Not supported on this mac" message when I try to run the installer, any help would be much appreciated. |

The game has been optimized and what not, so performance may be different. If there is a performance issue, then we can address it in a new thread.
A lot of people may expect same performance as WoW, but because of the new graphics/effects, this won;t be the case. TL;DR Ultra/High on WoW ≠ Ultra/High on D3. ________________________________________________ Mac Tech Support for Baaaaahlizzard Entertainment | Sun-Thur This is small step for me, but big step for humanity.
