Diablo® III

I reject your in-game music...

...and substitute my own:

Diabolical Masquerade
Summoning
Immortal
Kampfar
Windir
Burzum
Elffor
Limbonic Art
Old Man's Child
Dimmu Borgir
Dissection

lol Emo....

Remember down the highway not across the street.

Troll, I'm assuming. But those bands don't deal with suicide of oneself usually. It's usually paganism, satanism, or the cruelty of the world.

Bands like Lethian Dreams and Wine from Tears, deal with struggles of emotion and seclusion, and in general sadness.

You cannot deny that every human feels sadness at some times, and using music to express it is not a bad thing, unless you find yourself so macho that you are a "solid rock" that does not feel emotion.

As I said though, troll, or musically (and in life in general) uneducated.

I prefer Iced Earth

Check out Dante's Inferno

Literally one of the most epic metal songs ever. I had a friend years ago that would not stop playing my Burnt Offerings disc (it was on repeat the entire time he was there).

Check this out as a comparison: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzrYy2DD0kY

Sorry if I hurt your feelings. I just cannot stand screamo bands. Speaking of feelings, I thought about yours, had you not been so quick to jump on my thread, they could have been saved. I deal with sadness every day. You find a place for it and keep it there, it makes you stronger.

Weird Al Yankovich

I'm going to be smart and avoid the 'Vic this time around. He killed two hardcore ladder characters back in the day when I laughed too hard at a particular lyric and lost focus.

Still...might be nice for Normal.

Poodle Hat, anyone?

When I was a kid, I played through D1 with Black Sabbath's Ironman or Crazy Train. I alternated between the two and had one or the other on repeat for hours on end. I'll listen to the game's soundtrack until I'm sick of it.

Then it'll be lots of Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Korn, Metallica. Slipknot, The Prodigy, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, The Skids and System of a Down... the list goes on...

When I'm tired of that... Tech N9ne, Mac Dre, Lil' Wayne, and Andre Nickatina. For days.

I'll have some Opeth, Tiamat, and Slayer playing probably.

The acoustics of Opeth actually would match the acoustics of most traditional Diablo music perfectly. Play them both.

Couldn't do it while it sounds epic it lacks that badazz feeling you would get from something slightly more epic.

Didn't hurt my feelings, but you are still misinformed, or have never listened to said bands. It isn't "screamo" haha.

Continue on with your poor knowledge of music though.

Yeah, I rolled my eyes hard when I read that. I had someone call me Emo one time because I had an Opeth shirt on, and in addition to that I have auburn hair down to my waist, so I was like "uhhhhh..have you ever even SEEN an Emo kid?" I rememeber back in highschool Emo didn't even exist in a genre, so instead of that everyone would try to pull the Goth card on you. Ignorance feeding off of pop culture, and overused insults and designations either way. Now adays if you listen to Metal, people in their ignorance either think you're Emo, or they think you listen to Korn, Linkin Park, Drowning Pool, etc; people don't know what the hell metal is in this country. =/

logged on just to say opeth is pretty awesome...

however porcupine tree is better =]
steven wilson is the man and so is devin townsend (not porcupine tree)

For the life of me, and I don't know why, I've never been able to get into Porcupine Tree. It actually kind of pisses me off to be honest. Oh well. =(

try listening to shallow, or halo or lazarus or gravity eyelids or arriving somewhere but not here or fear of a blank planet or time flies or what happens now.... (they have a ton of good songs, but thosre the best)

Well I grew up as a MetalHead, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Paradox and Old Metallica, We all called you people Goth, then somewhere along the way, it got turned into emo , probably around the early 2000's (way after my time in school though).

I'm assuming you guys still call each other that.

Dimmu Borgir USED to be a Black Metal band. Now they're more of a very watered down symphonic Black Metal band, but I put heavy emphasis on the watered down part. They're pretty close to being as mainstream as Cradle of Filth at this point. I haven't been a fan of them since Spiritual Black Dimensions.

Same. I learned how to play bass because of Iron Maiden and my best friend guitar because of Megadeth. \m/
Although I guess I'm really against the stereotype since I can't stand alcohol and have never done any illegal drugs.
