Diablo® III

Status on physics FPS drop

Hello there,

I didn't experience any problem playing the beta, besides that huge frame drop when heavy physics (jondar stairs, big cluster of enemies for example) happens. I've red here that you guys acknowledge the problem and were investigantig. Should I expect the same problem on the full version or it was already fixed?

Btw, radeon 4870 + phenom 9850 + 4gb ram here.

Thx

Physics hits CPU heavily. The original Phenom series isn't very awesome at doing that though. YMMV

No doubt. However the problem happened to CPUs better than mine. A quick search wiould show this but they cleaned the forums for the launch.

There is something wierd happening. I get 60fps most of the time (60fps limit), however on jondar stairs, with only the stairs breaking down, FPS drops from 60 to 20 and goes back to 60 in half second.
