before anyone yells at me to look at the unsupported vid card list, i want to say that i did look at the list but i had a question. a friend of mine is going to be playing D3 on his laptop and i saw in the in unsupported list that his wasent listed (he has a ATI Mobility Redeon HD 550V in the laptop).
i found in the list:
Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series
Line 443: 0x1002|0x5B63|Unsupported|Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series
Line 444: 0x1002|0x5B73|Unsupported|Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series Secondary
Line 445: 0x1002|0x5B70|Unsupported|Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series Secondary
Line 446: 0x1002|0x5657|Unsupported|Radeon X550/X700 Series
Line 447: 0x1002|0x5677|Unsupported|Radeon X550/X700 Series Secondary
Radeon X600/X550 Series
Line 451: 0x1002|0x3E70|Unsupported|Radeon X600/X550 Series Secondary
these are similar names to the one he has but it doens't have ATI Mobility infront of it so i just want to know if that means his card will work or if it wont.
if you trust your friend. iono if you can do this or it violates your user term agreements.
let him log into your d3 on his comp. if he can play it then hhe can run it. but might be hella messed up and slow and stuff. or it might just not run at all. iono
too bad blizzard didnt just make a brower app that could just tell us whether we can play the game or not haha. that be so easy.
