No, don't try mixing them. The new installer is actually installing the game. It's not downloading files to be installed later.

Either use the new one and get rid of what you had before from the old one, or re-run the old one to let it finish properly.

Ok cool, thx. Just checking before I broke something ;).

Had the same problems as everyone else...Did the predownload of 7.6gb, tried to install today, and got the error related to the .part files..Tried fixing it, and it'd give an error at 41%...So I just deleted the D3 completely, and redownloaded/installed(as it does it at the same time) the new 8.19gb file...It made it to 100%, I hit play, the cinematic played, tried loging in and it said the servers were down at this time...So all seems good...

So if anyone is having problems, I'd just say delete your old D3 file completely and redownload/install the files again..Worked for me.

Any idea how to keep the installation file for later use without download again? since the new installer installs the game itself and I don't want it install in my C drive
