Here is how to fix the ''Stuck on updating files'' issue alot of people are having.
I'm guessing this will help alot of people. I dont know if this has been posted on here before but, owell...

Make sure you close your firewall so it doesnt cause any interference.

1. Open task manager and make sure to kill every agent processes.
2. Delete the C:\ProgramData\Battle.net Folder.
3. Go to Control Panel>Network and internet>Internet Options>Connections tab.
4. Check 'Never Dial a Connection' checkbox and apply.
5. Open your installer, it should work now.

This has been the only successful fix for me.
Hope this helps.

EDIT: I have had this issue with Mist of Pandaria beta also, it is also fixed..

It's listed in the known issues sticky on the Bug Report forum

Tools
If the user has any connections configured in "Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings" and they're set to "Dial whenever a network connection is not present," the install won't proceed past 10%.

I'd like to offer a simpler fix that worked for this the d3 beta, Mists of Pandaria beta at least for me on windows 7 64 bit.

Right click .exe
go to properties
go to the compatibility
Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP service pack 2/3"

should boot right up

Stupid question, but where do I find the Battle.net folder? I've looked for it in the ProgramData and can't seem to find it :/

Also tried this, and it didn't work.

2nd edit:

Found the folders, deleted them. Clicked Install, and now it's not moving >.<

The programData folder is hidden by default. You would have to go into your Windows Explorer and adjust the visibility for your folders to show hidden files.

Organize -> Folder and search option -> view tab -> show hidden folder
