Diablo® III

Is there a work around for this I have the game downloaded but it will not install because my ISP blockes P2P

What error are you getting?

I get "Error: Unable to initialize streaming. Please check your Internet connection. If this problem persist, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (Initialize Steaming)"

Go into the settings in the downloader, and disable peer to peer connections. If it still does not work, you'll have to contact Blizzard.

I thought you could disable peer to peer at the top on the internet connections, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can.

There is no option for me it is all grayed out??

At what point of the installation do you get that? (Post a SS to help me?)

And are you able to play/update WoW?

I can play WoW but the last patch i was not able to download from blizz had to do a 3rd party

I dont think that has any relation to peer to peer.

I'd have to see a few logs though. Can you Zip and upload the following log folders (They do not contain any personal data)
C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\Agent.954\Logs
C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Client\Blizzard Launcher.1575\Logs
C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Setup\diablo3_enus\Log
If you're using Windows XP the path to the Battle.net folder would be the following.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Battle.net

Alright. It looks like Agent.524 is not able to install D3.

So, "what the #%#% is going on?!", you ask. The agent needs to download a torrent file to update itself, and that is being blocked by your ISP. As result, the agent is stuck at version 524.

A simple workaround would be to go to:
http://patchup.info/d3/tools/Win/Download the Agent AND Blizzard Launcher Update, install it and start the Setup.

Once the install finishes (you're not going to see any visible change on the launcher) you'll get the error "Failed to download a required file", when that happens, download the Diablo III.tfil from:
http://patchup.info/d3/tfil/NA/Extract and drop the tfil in your Diablo III folder (alongside Diablo III.exe)

Restart the launcher, download ~50MB and you're done.

Could you update your launcher as well? It's still at version 888. Also, why are you using the web install now and not the encrypted one?

which Launcher? the WoW one? and i have no idea what you are talking about using the web install one?

Blizzard Launcher 1575, download it from the same page you downloaded the Agent 954

Web installer is the "Diablo-III-Setup-enUS.exe" but I saw that you only tried that one AFTER you got the first error. BTW, I just tested it again, you got that error because the Agent isn't accepting the values posted by the version 888 of the Launcher.
