Anmt, mine is already installed and patched. I run a pretty high-end machine though, with solid-state hard disk. Overall though, with a 3Mbps wi-fi connection, it's not long at all to patch once the installation is done.
It CAN be a bit tricky to work around some "authenticating" issues you may or may not see when you get home. Refer to the multiple other threads in this forum when you get a chance.
I was installed and patched to 18.104.22.16858 in just over 15 minutes.
Sounds good, I too have a SSD and a 12mb/s connection. Just wanted to make sure I could get it done on an hour lunch break. Have a meeting and some things to do when I get off so just wanted to have it already out of the way. Thanks for the info.
You should have no problems. Note: If you're a WoW annual pass subscriber (like myself) ensure you click the 2nd option when it asks you to activate your game code (it says something along the lines of "I already have activated my account"). That should prevent you from wasting time trying to find a game key in your battle.net site.
