Question about Characters

I remember in Diablo II you could not bring a stand alone character into battle net and play.

In diablo III Are we able to do that? Play alone at times then play on battlenet ?

If we are able to do that then next question would be

Are we able to sell Items in the AH that we find alone.

It's all on Battle.net now, Zerican. No characters are locally stored.

So you can be happily soloing along in a private invite-only game ("single player"), then bring in a couple buddies for a boss fight, then go back to doin' what you do.

It's kinda awesome.

And yes, you can sell anything you find on the AH, whether you found it solo or in a group.

Single players got kicked to the curb in D3. There is only online. You will always be subject to Cattlenet lag, whisperbots, server downtime, ect. Just see how stable the servers are when the game launches in the US in a few hours.
