- Type Start > Click Run > Type dxdiag
- At the bottom click save all information...
- Save to your desktop (its will be a dixdiag.txt)

Run as Administrator:
Navigate to your folder...

Right click and run as Administrator.
Alternately via Command Prompt:
Click Start > Type CMD in Search > Right Click and Click Run as Administrator..
In the Prompt Screen type the above directory (Be sure to use the quote marks)
- Navigate to the D3 directory (see above).
- Right-Click and Select Properties > Click on the Compatibly Tab > Check Run this program in compatibility mode for:
