Well i noticed depending on the performance of the computer and how many things running on your computer will impact the loading of diablo3. I have a top end pc and it takes about 3 minutes for my Diablo3 to launch. So don't worry just give it 5 minutes tops.

If it doesn't load and you can't re-open it just kill Agent.exe from process and kill the launcher and re-launch it.

Now I deleted the Battle.Net folder as the Technical Support said, and I can't even get past the Updating Setup Files..

Great Job Blizzard.

I'm having the same issue.

I'm alternately getting one of two errors.

I kill the launcher and agent.exe, and run it again and I'll randomly get one of the following:

1)
"Updating tools [0%]" and it sits like that forever.

or

2)
"Initializing..."

followed by updating 14474 files

then 611 files

then 100%
"Game is up to date"

I click Play and nothing....

Wait a while....kill the processes, and get one of the two errors, again.

Yep, if I don't run agent.exe before running the launcher or Diablo 3.exe it just gets stuck on updating tools at 0%. Running agent.exe lets me get past initialization but then it freezes on launching.

Maybe Jigsaw is hacking my computer and wants to play a game.

Hmm...i think they're too busy counting the money and they can care less about the costumers/consumers.

weird tho. exact same problems from beta and yet they have not fixed them yet.
but when i was playing beta, a miracle happened and i was able to play.

Why are these problems still here from Beta?

Beta ran fine for me. I didn't have to disable other programs and my antivirus. I didn't have to run it as administrator. It knew my OS wasn't out of date. I was actually able to play the game.

I must say, I'm impressed with how random the game is, so far. I never know what error I'm going to get. Occasionally when I kill agent.exe, it even gives me the BSOD. I'd almost forgotten it even existed.

So the launcher pops up, everything is downloaded to 100%, the PLAY button lights up green, I click it, it says launching...and just sits there. Nothing. I have been up for hours waiting for this like many others. Please help or direct to help for this. Thank you.

I got to the logon screen about 1.5 hrs ago, could not logon so took a break to try later, now I get this crap. What in the Sam Hill is going on Blizzard??? fail after fail after fail on this launch is frustrating
