Diablo® III

Can't install to B: drive

As the title says, I have a RamDisk labeled B: and the installer won't allow me to install to it.

The installer simply won't let you install to the A: or B: drives. You'll need to change the drive letter.

Note that I don't really recommend using a RAMDISK anyway, as the performance is not really going to be terrible different than an SSD or even a faster HDD. The game is not limited by disk speed (most of the loading time involves loading it into video memory).

Thank you.

I'm well aware of the risks of running from a RamDisk, but from my experience in the beta there was a noticeable stutter when using skills for the first time that I didn't experience when playing from a RamDisk.
