Diablo® III

I live in Canada, and I am trying to login to the American server. Global Play is already active, but I am still getting Error 12: "Your battle.net account does not have a Diablo III lisense attached to it".
Yes, i have activated the code already. Oddly, when I try to login to Europe server, it works. I know several others on forum experiencing this problem, please help.
nm, it switched to EU for some reason.

Please advise I just intstalled and created account on Battlenet. When I try to login in the game it is almost like it is greyed out not active
I also am in OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada
Im in the US and my Login is greyed out too! I guess that means the servers are down?

Edit: I used my email address instead of Battle Tag and it logged in!

I keep getting removed from my game and whenever i try to log back in, I get error 316704. Any ideas how this is fixed?
