This is rediculous

OMG! People cant play a game that has A TON OF PEOPLE LOGGING IN AT ONCE AND TRYING TO CONNECT TO AT ONCE! Just shut up. This is a game you are given the rights to PLAY. You don't OWN anything in Blizzard. You just pay blizzard to LET YOU play their game. Blizzard doesnt have to allow you to play their games people. and Look if you dont like what they are doing... Then Leave. No one is forcing you to buy their game. You cant sit there and say "Blizzard you F'd up or I demand my money back" Because they didnt FORCE you to buy their game. and its THEIR game they can litterally do what ever they want to it. Quit the Whining and complaining. I was at school all day.. And i didnt even have to do anything cause lower classmen were testing and i wasnt. i was at school for no reason. but omg look im waiting for my download to finish and so i can start playing what I can and when i can. The point is. Its a game. Quit complaining. If you dont like it. Go find yourself another game that is just as good or anywhere close to Blizzard line of Production. TBH you people need to realize. Blizzard is an AMAZING company (no im not a suck up. Im saying their Customer support rocks if you arent a complete D-bag to them) and Also. Rule number one. The Customer is not always right. TBH the customer is RARELY right.

Blizzard is not doing us a service, WE ARE DOING THEM A SERVICE by being willing to pay for this crap.

The customer is always right, even when they're wrong. Rule of business.

So... you're in college. Holy pale mother of a holy infant, let me get down and bow real quick before you get pushed into the real world.

I'm not claiming that I'm someone special, just that I'm not a bum.

If you don't understand that then i wont trouble myself trying to explain it further.

Just stop being a whiny child. I'm sorry you didn't get an hour of D3 in before class. Stuff happens, it's nothing important.

Change your major, start making video games, and when you've got one as enormous as D3, we'll all sit back and watch you flounder like Blizzard is now.

I don't understand all the complaining. This isn't uncommon for a online game launch at all. I've played quite a few mmorpgs and they have all had a problem at some point in the beginning. If a couple days of glitches keeps you from playing this then I don't know why you bought this game. Expected too much. I love it and I haven't even hit act 2.

This guy hit the nail on the head.

For the people QQing and demanding compensation, your compensation will be one badass game once the servers are running smoothly.

Ever been to a movie theater when the projector blows out 30 minutes in? It sucks, but the theater gives you a pass to come back and see it at another time.

Some people are demanding single player offline when you KNEW it wasn't available offline. That's like walking into that same movie theater and !@#$%ing about why they didn't give you the Blu-ray so you could watch it by yourself at home.

Everyone can say what they want. I just don't get how you can work on a game for eons, have the experience from WoW to know what to expect, and still on the release day have the fit hit the shan. I didn't do the diehard take off work and pop speed so I can beat the game in 6 hours thing. It's a casual thing for me. What I don't understand is why bother hyping it up and have midnight release parties and all that garbage for something that won't function properly for what could range from 2 days to weeks or more? That much time...that much experience...that much MONEY to work with...and still hit the same problems as every other release.

By the way...for those of you saying "This is just the way it always is for releases!"...maybe that is part of the problem. You buy it...it should work. People shouldn't have to have low expectations. I can't think of any other product that I buy NEW expecting it to be majorly flawed right out of the box. Just saying...higher expectations shouldn't be chastised.

dont worry the people who cant install it arnt missing much, once they get it installed they will just be playing the worlds most lagtastic game.... all these years of waiting is going down the drain fast

i played for 8 hours straight with 0 lag so maybe you should check your end as that is where the problem most likely lies.

Really guys, 3:30?
I've been waiting since midnight last night, you had these same problems since october in beta, it's absurd to claim that you cant predict the stress when you did stress tests the whole time, you knew how many people were purchasing the game, and failed to prepare.
Maybe if you hadn't had this problem with all of your games since WoW people would be forgiving, but you have.

....wow US servers.....wow

Lol. Wrong and wrong. I'm not a he and i'm old enough to be your Mother thank you.

We have a business and it's rule of thumb that the customer is always right, because they're the ones that are paying and keeping us in business.

The down time is annoying, but I can just play something else until it's up.
It's just dissappointing that after years and years of game release issues(not just Blizzard) that people don't learn.

Blizzard doesnt have to have us Pay for Diablo. People pay for WoW. They didnt HAVE to make the Warcraft,Diablo or the Starcraft series. They could of EASILY been a different company( IE Making Software or some other sort of production in computers or games for other consoles. IE Xbox or Play Station) .. so no they did YOU a service by making a game for YOU to play on the computer that has given you many years of gameing fun on the computer.. Games were made for Leisure. not for you to B and complain about how you dont like it. Better yet. to all of you saying they did crap for how long they worked on this.
YOU DO IT AND QUIT COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW THEY CANT!! They are a god forsaken GAME COMPANY. They get PAID to do what they do. YOU DONT. 90% of you CANT MAKE ANY OF THESE KINDS OF GAMES. and IF by chance you can get a game to get THIS popular. and You DO do it. THEN you can complain about how this is crap or they suck.. But until that happens Keep your Mouth shut and just play the game.. and again if you DONT like .. THEN GO SOME WHERE ELSE. Blizzard doesnt need people calling them crap constantly just because you dont like what they did. So seriously.

I agree we need to complain. I haven't been able to get on at any time I've tried since release because of assorted BNet issues. Blizzard doggedly insisted on requiring a constant connection to play this single-player game. I don't think I'll be buying any more Blizzard single-player games after this. Paying a premium for added frustration is wholly unappealing to me.

Buddy im more Capitalist than you. Anything political wise I ignore in school . and btw that rule of Buisness is only in effect outside of gaming companies. Because that is ONLY opinion based in a Game. No one is right but the Developers in Gaming. Because YOU always want to be the more dominant player. So there for That rule DOESNT apply.

Poppet. Yes, they get paid by us. If it wasn't for people buying their games, they wouldn't be as big as they are now.

there are just problems that happen with any launch or patch release. especially with this volume of players. they did all they could to prepare, and are doing all they can to fix it.

Actually... this doesn't happen with any launch or game release... in fact I've gotten many games on day 1 and been able to at least INSTALL the thing.
I mean, the installer doesn't work correctly... the INSTALLER.
No, sorry, that's not normal.
