How much of support are these support forums worth if they're all about people who are having problems with installing the damn game, but no Blizzard tech has said anything about how to get the damn game to install? These forums are a joke.

I'll just wait a month to attempt to install the game.

Bloodspray, when do you get this error? Let's get into the specifics of your computer with the Direct X Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag):

  • Hit the Windows key, and type:
  • dxdiag
  • Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and Save a DxDiag text file.
Copy and paste everything, except for the last section:
------------------
DirectShow Filters
------------------

After you paste everything into a post, highlight everything, and hit the "pre" button (It says "Code Blocks" when you hover your mouse over it).

At the what point do you get this error, Bloodspray?

05/23/2012 04:48 PMPosted by Bloodspray
Card name: Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset

Even if you are able to get Diablo III installed, it will not run on an unsupported video card.

Yeah, I appreciate you were helping me Velnrak earlier too. But after I posted all of my info as you requested you didn't reply back, so I've been left in the dark still. :( However you have been the only one it seems semi-concerned with this issue, and a big thank you for that.

same, i've had this game for 6 days or so, only got one response to me ticket. I tried everything on their list and still have yet to make it past 1/3 of the way through updating setup files. i told them that in a response on the ticket and they've ignored it for 3 days now.

Gurnt I hear ya. I've sent the ticket several times and I get the same cookie cutter response every time with a note at the end that says if the problem is still an issue open another ticket. So I do and get same response...worthless. I also after waiting 2 hours got through to tech support over the phone, but they couldn't help me. I'm just frustrated because I bought this PC with the express purpose of playing DIII on arrival.
