Updated driver, now graphics are messed up

i recieved the update driver notice yesterday, but in my excitement played anyway. The game looked good and ran okay. While the servers were down last night i updated my driver. When i logged this morning there were blocks all over the ground, missing spots, trees were flashing in and out, and the latency was pretty high. (on single player)

Can my comp not support the new driver? application error? This is my first time updating my driver. I downloaded from AMD's website. bought the system in 09.
Thank u for any help

Reinstall the driver you had before you updated. Sometimes new drivers are just screwed up. Ignore the drivers are out of date message.

Same problem here.. How do I reinstall my old driver? AMD "updated" my driver by changing my 4250 to a 4200... ughhh

Very similar system with the exact same probles. Fallouts, traingular patches, and then freezeups. I don't really know where to back up to. My version 11.8 driver didn't work for crap. The 12.4 driver was worse. I think this is a game issue. None of my other programs have a problem,

Win Vista 64
Quad core 2.4
8 gig ram
Radeon HD 3200

Try to get it to 12.3. That's what I'm running and it works fine. There was a post the other day about these cards and others. Mine was unaffected but I didn't update to 12.4 because of some sort of proablem with that driver and card combo. Mines a 6800 series which are not affected but I still didn't update just to be safe.

I thought i was the only one! As soon as the playable option was enabled, i logged in and stuff, and saw blocks here and there and missing tiles with triangle shapes everywhere. I thought it was my "horrible" graphics/video card, but my friend said i shouldn't have any problems?

windows vista
AMD Phenom(tm) 9100e Quad-Core Processor ~1.8GHz
4GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

I have no idea what though. I did NOT uninstall before installing the new one, unless it did it automatically from the AMD driver update website. It didn't mention it in the instructions.
Anyway, I could use some help. Cus the game is unplayable this way, and I guess I'm dumb and don't know how to fix it.

Thanks guys.

For my radeon mobility HD 4500, catalyst 12.4 produced many problems w/ D3. 12.3 package works fine.

Same problems, but what I ended up doing was going to my control panel to windows updates and one of them was an update for AMD from 4200 to 4250. hopefully that fixes tmy problem as well as others

To rollback to the previous driver, go to control panel. Up in the search box, type "device manager". Go to "device manager". Once there, click on "display adapters". From the drop down menu, choose your graphics card. Right click and go to "properties". From there, you should see the option to rollback to the previous update.

I did this and I'm back to normal. :)

Just wanted to post an update -- I was able to follow the 'device manager' rollback option posted by Amethera and my game has been working since then!
