Any of you out there use a mobile broadband usb dongle or MiFi hotspot to play Diablo 3 or any other Blizzard game? If so what's your latency and how often does your connection drop. What's the service provider (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Clear formerly Clearwire). What model/brand are you using or recommend.
This wouldn't be my permanent internet but since i'll be working and going to school, I won't be home as much as I usually am and i'll be wanting to play D3 from school between classes. Any recommendations would be great besides don't do it and all mobile broadband sucks. Oh and tethering is out of the question. I like my unlimited 3G grandfathered plan from AT&T to give in to their greed and lose the ability to watch Netflix on my iPhone.
Most universities will have extremely fast Internet connections, which translates into decent speeds over the air. As far as playing on a broadband card goes, I've never done it before, so I can't attest to what the performance would be like from playing on it.
