Diablo® III

I Lost All My Money and Items?

I logged on, after the rolling restarts just then. I had a heap of gems, rares and over 300k gold in my stash and now its all gone :(

Anyone else have this happen to them?
Yes, this happened to me too. I submitted a ticket to Blizz support, I hope they can recover things quickly.
Me too. I had 900k, 10 stacks of ectos and 17 stacks of obsidian shards. Hopefully Blizzard will give those back to me.
Just then? This really sucks :( in the process of submitting a ticket.
yep just happened to me as well lost 130k.
Judging by everything people seem to be loosing is such a high amount, it could very well be because of a bug being abused.
This really sucks, I had all this gear lost too. I hope we can get it all back! arghhh all this time farming for nothing lol.
no bugs being abused. im guessing it has something to do with the server restarts

I definitely wasn't abusing any bug. I was just playing Act II nightmare with my friend last night and I wake up to find everything gone.
My gold is gone too but my items are in tact and my HC chars are not dead.

Support is telling me that it's not a bug because he's only offering to roll back my account to the state of when I last logged out but I'm not sure of the details of this yet, from the sound of it they only perform this service once for the life time of your account.
Has everyone experiencing this issue confirmed that they're playing in the correct region and that their account hasn't been compromised?
yes and yes. but just curious was everyone playing act 2 when this happened?
I am playing in the correct region. I logged out in the middle of act 1 nightmare.

@Protown
When you logged back in were your characters moved to act 1 normal's starting point?

@ fremd, i just logged on and noticed all my stuff was missing and i was in the first act of normal, but not at the starting point, i was by the waypoint.
I sent a ticket, and this is what i got in return. hmm

Sounds like your account might have been hacked.
I'm Australian, but was forced to do a second install...so now I'm American. Took a whole night to install it again.

But, as living in Aussie, when I see the timer of shutdown, I have a minute to to shutdown the game. I TP back to town and close the game. Helped me more than once.

And I mean CLOSE the game, not just going back to Menu.

I had a couple of hiccups, but if the game is restored after the server-reboot, you should be fine.
@GORGUZZ,
That's the exact response I got too. I asked for the accounts the gold was moved to but support wouldn't supply that info.

He also won't confirm or deny that it's a game bug. The only thing they will do is rollback the account but if you use your restoration now, there's a very good chance you won't be able to do it in the future.
