30% damage reduction fix

Hi guys, I searched a lot on the forums and I didn't find any clear answer to my question. It appears Blizzard fixed an issue where barb&monk didnt have their basic 30% damage reduction in inferno (correct me if I am wrong). However, does it make a difference? Can the barbarian now play normally? Thanks.

Well i went into inferno for the second time today, and this time it seems much easier.... i did switch from a 2h to S/S, although i lost some health i gained block. my resists are all at about 100~, yet im doing very well in inferno act1 so far..

If this is the case (I haven't logged on yet to check), then I guess that makes things easier and much more reasonable overall. This could stem the barbs are useless past A2 Inferno complaints at least.

I sure hope this is the case since I shelved my Barb last night to re-roll

I was just about to create a thread asking this same thing.

I don't think there is one. This is just speculation based off of a few people that seem the be having a less difficult time with inferno Act 2 "all of a sudden"

Doubt it, seems more like wishful thinking.

Its good, they them see all the monks and barbarian reroll. that might actually get them to fix it sooner.

There was a quote talking about hwo they nerfed the DMG in inferno. So it maybe a dmg nerf and not a specific barb/monk 30% fix. I hope its both but I have also seen videos and read about how ppl are apparently having less trouble in inferno.

Doesnt really fix the issue though since noone was saying make the game easier or buff barbs but nerf range classes! I know Wiz got a small fix with an armor spell that was super OP.

Doesnt seem like there is much longevity for caster classes who can faceroll their keyboard to victory and farm act 4 gear!

A buddy of mine is reporting an easier time as well after raging hardcore the past couple days about getting his face smashed in and being unable to progress. No changes to his gear or his spec and today he's able to take on elite groups without getting utterly destroyed.

I'm at ~200 Resist, ~7500 Armor, ~40k HP, ~15k Dmg and in A2, some issues now.. :p

Also only had ~100 Resist in Act1, and had no real issues with it so...not sure what you're doing differently Redeemer.

What skills you using?

Bul'Kathos would not guide the hand of someone who forsakes him.

I hope your struggles continue weakling.

To the true Barbs: stay hard.
