Diablo® III

How is +dmg % calculated?

Example. A barbarian with 500 Strength (STR) that gives him 500% damage...

Now he buys a 2h weapon on the AH that adds +45% weapon damage

And he uses a passive ability that adds +25% damage on full fury

His ability buff gives +30% damage (15% normally +15% with a rune).

Will his total damage % be 500+45+25+30=600% ???

IF it's the same as D2 then in your case the +45% on the weapon will be added first. Then the other 3 will combine and add to that number. If your weapon did 10-20 damage then you would multiply by the 45% to get 14.5-29. Then you add the 500%+25%+30% for 555%. Then multiply that by the 14.5-29 for 95-190 Total damage. The other factors are +damage from equipment. +min/max will add directly to your weapon damage (the 14.5-29) but +% damage adds in with the skills.
