This is not fair :(. We've been preparing for the RMAH (We as in my buddies) for as long as it has been announced. And now that its finaly here, You push it back? Again? Why?

We have so many very very High quality items to sell!

Is it because so many people were getting hacked? Your going to punish us because people dont know that password123 is a bad password? Or a phishing site has not auth cert. Or the url is slightly different.
Thanks Nethaera, although I have to admit, I've got lots of $$$ saved up burning a hole in my virtual pocket. Looking forward to RMAH.

My account was compromised and I was offered a limited account restoration to which I accepted. This was about 48 hours ago, I was wondering if you had any information on about how long this process takes b/c I'd really like to start playing again!

Oh, and can we have an actual game manual that explains in detail what the skills are, or at least have the Game Guide section of the website updated to include that information?

For example, the Demon Hunter passive Night Stalker "Critical Hits have a chance to restore 1 Discipline." How much chance is that? Since there is no combat log, it's tough trying to reverse engineer things to see if something like that matters.

And on hotfixes, in the future can you make sure the tooltips always reflect the new reality. Wizards, Monks, and Demon Hunters who don't check the forums (ya know, most of them) might not have any idea why their favorite powers aren't working anymore. I suspect a few bug reports have been filed based on it.

Oh, and speaking of hotfixes, can you pretty please not nerf things into uselessness as your first choice? Maybe try smaller steps looking for balance? Oh, and even better, can you pretty please make other skills better before you nerf "must have" skills into oblivion (I'm looking at you Demon Hunter who lost Smoke Screen but didn't get the ability to use things like Sentry or Caltrops which means there is even less diversification in classes than previously)

p.s. I'm not saying the skills that got nerfed didn't need tweaked. I'm saying maybe moderation is a better way of doing it.

P.S. Leaderboards, stat tracking compared to the rest of the community. Also please dont forget to make any lvl cap increases VERY difficult. Harder than D2 99 lvl to acheive.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Most of the threads I see posted lately are about end game/balance/items but account security is critically important as well.
Great communication by Blizzard, thank you for keeping us on the same page. We really do appreciate being kept up to date. Company-to-customer transparency is the way to go!

I can't really answer that for you with a specific time frame. I do know that our customer support team is working as quickly as possible to address this for anyone who has been compromised. Hopefully we'll have you back to demon slaying soon.

BTW, for all those sharing any feedback on game changes, these would be best served in an existing discussion thread just so that we can find this feedback more easily. We appreciate those who have constructive feedback to share with us and we'll do our best to keep you as updated as possible. Just keep in mind that we may not always have immediate answers to share, but that doesn't mean we aren't paying attention.

It's not like he's going to fix your car anyway, no matter how much you cry.
Keep up the good work Blizzard. I know you guys are working hard to get to the source of all these hacking claims. Keep an eye on the situation and remain vigilant in your purpose. I have a mobile authenticator and I'll make sure that all my friends get one as well if they don't have it already. So far nobody I know has had an issue.

So, is it safe to play in public games?
Nothing about the 300-1000ms latency a lot of experience every day that is out of our control? Or how at 4 AM PDT my latency is 60ms?

I am glad you guys are working on the game, just would love to play it without the latency in my single player mode. Thanks!


Thorough update for sure. It is appreciated. However, the vaguest mention of server stability does not make me feel much better about having not been able to play the game for a week due to the above reason.

Holiday weekend fast approaching and I fear that many of us will once again not be able to participate due to the latency issue. This is not a hotfix or patch issue, rather a network/server farm problem. Any indication that this will be addressed? 9 days of awful latency should have been enough time to address this.

I thought we were promised some comments about the design philosophy of Inferno difficulty, in light of the hotfixes to classes. Having some vague idea of what to expect going forward would put many people at ease.
GG Blizzard. Really. As a D3 player, i'm happy to see that you guys tell me something like " ok, we know things are not 100% ok, we're working on them" and i'm happy to see you prefer to postpone the rmah launch instead of launching something that's not working as it should. [ no sarcasm ]

Please, do something about the items [ considering the way things are now, in 2-3 months the AH will be full of good items at low prices ]

It's better than posting in a regular thread where it gets buried in 10 seconds and there's a lottery chance of a blue addressing ones concern.

I don't care about the rmah, or the other stuff. I do care about how they plan on making this game last for more than a couple weeks. Items, inferno, skills, etc..
