Diablo® III

What Non-CD moves for DPS Vision Quest build?

I am currently fresh out of Normal mode sporting the following build:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#hcUdeS!XWb!ZaZZZa

That build has served me well, providing me with several AoE options, two DoTs that stack well for maximized damage vs. single targets, and just enough defensive options to survive. Regrettably, such a build cannot be my final one, for Vision Quest's effect is too potent to pass up.

Thus, I come to the forums in search of answers. The following is the framework I plan to head towards:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#..UdZk!XWU!..ZZaY

I am looking for the two skills that will provide roughly the same functionality as my current build, that is: AoE options that fully utilize 300% mana regeneration, and some sort of DoT-stacking to maximize single-target damage as well.

Can a build like this get away with not having a Primary Skill? Intuition leads me to believe that the two skills will be Dire Bats and Resentful Spirit, but I am unsure of how sustainable using two high-cost abilities will be, even with this build's regeneration capacity.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you to all that choose to respond.

this vision quest build is probably the most dps in the game

spam direbats constantly
never go oom
you have very little survivability tbh and its not good at all for soloing

you'll find that keeping abilities that are ~20s cd on cooldown isnt as easy as it might sound

Kind of new here so maybe this is obvious, but how do you bind multiple abilities from the same tree?

I thought you need to have a primary and secondary skill, and one each defensive, terror, decay, and voodoo.

Enable Elective Mode in the Options menu and the training wheels restriction is removed. It should be under Options -> Gameplay -> [X] Elective Mode
